Flood-hit communities impacted by Storm Henk (2nd Jan – 8th Jan) can now apply for thousands of pounds from the government to help them recover.

The financial support announced 6th January 2024, will be available to eligible areas in England that have experienced exceptional localised flooding.

Members of the public who are concerned about river flooding can also find out if they are at risk via the Environment Agency’s website and sign up for the free Flood Warnings service where available.
